Jim believes in the fundamental liberties espoused in the Constitution. He also supports the 9th Amendment which states: “The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.”

Of course the difficulty arises when one tries to apply these rules to some of the debated issues of today such as abortion and gay rights.  While these are just two of the various issues that are debated in our society, the discussion below should provide insight as to how Jim will approach these and other social issues.
