Independence Caucus Endorses Jim Trautz for 10th Congressional District of Virginia

Republican grassroots candidate in VA-10 runs on focused platform of fiscal responsibility.

STERLING, Va.—November 19, 2009— Jim Trautz, a Republican challenger for the Congressional seat in Virginia’s 10th district, has received the endorsement of the Independence Caucus, a bi-partisan group committed to taking back government from the "Big Money" special interest groups.

In stark contrast to the incumbent, Mr. Trautz is committed to ending out of control federal spending, ending the abuse and misuse of the Congressional earmark system; and ending Government Bailouts of private companies.

In addition, Mr. Trautz has shown he understands that the problems with our economy begin with:

1. A Government that will not stop spending money that it doesn’t have.
2. A Government that will not stop printing money it shouldn’t print.
3. A Government that will not stop mandating unconstitutional policies that create unintended and unwanted consequences to the economy.

In short, Mr. Trautz has demonstrated that he would serve as an honorable proponent of fiscal responsibility through adherence to Constitutional authority. Accordingly, the Independence Caucus asks all residents of Virginia’s 10th District to support Jim Trautz’s election.
