Does anyone want to take a stab at breaking down this post, specifically the part in the middle about using the blogosphere and new grassroots campaigns to vet complex issues and legislation?

I see it as one of many ways to avoid State overreach and curb the culture of compromise in Washington fueld by special interest money.
