Jim Trautz Launches Grassroots Campaign for U.S. Congress

Republican Candidate runs in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District on platform of fiscal responsibility, proactive leadership, and responsive representation.

STERLING, Va.—November 13, 2009—Today Jim Trautz announced his candidacy for U.S. Congress on a three-tiered platform of fiscal responsibility, proactive leadership, and responsive representation.

Today’s grassroots political movement is a response to government overreach. It is a return to the Constitutional ideal of the consent of the governed and claims a rightful place at the head—not the tail—of our political discourse. With multi-trillion dollar debts being amassed today and passed on to our children tomorrow, we all plainly see what happens when the voice of the people is not rightly represented in the halls of government. Jim aims to reverse this injustice.

Jim Trautz stands poised to serve this movement and our nation at a critical juncture of our history. The platform of fiscal responsibility, proactive leadership, and responsive representation will be used throughout the campaign conversation to dissect the issues and present lasting solutions grounded in our Constitutional ideals of limited government, individual liberty, free market economics, and freedom of conscience among diverse and equal peoples.
