 What are the biggest problems facing America? Why do we see these as the biggest problems? Is it because our politicians or the media have told us to think this way, or is it because we have critically thought about these issues ourselves?

Honesty

What am I? As you can imagine, one of the questions I am asked most often is, “What are you--Republican, Democrat, or what”? Given the compromises of both parties, I wrestled with this question for a long time before announcing my candidacy. I’m not interested in trying to fit myself into one camp or another.

Conscience

As a leader, I am led by my conscience. That means I am only loyal to party leadership when my conscience is aligned with their motives, methods, and goals. The same is true of my relationship to my constituents. I will always aim to represent the best interests of my constituents, but never in violation of my conscience.
